Robert E. Brown

President, AG&B Builders Inc.

The commitment to excellence and individual satisfaction in your new home begins at the top.

For more than 20 years, building communities of fine homes in  Delaware County has been the goal of  AG&B  builders Inc.’ President Robert “Bob” Brown – a lifetime Delaware County resident – understands the pride, excitement and complexities of becoming a new home owner.

Bob’s professional relationship with the importance of “home” began more than 35 years ago, when a career shift to the banking industry found him serving as a mortgage loan officer. As vice president of lending for two area banks for 17 years, he provided thousands of loans to local homeowners and businesses.

In the late 1980s, Bob’s transition to land developer and builder combined his finance expertise with his passion for construction. His involvement with apartment and condominium ownership, management and conversions provided additional insight to what each of us calls “home.”

Bob started by building homes in Ridley Township and Ridley Park, then progressed to larger projects as the market evolved. Throughout his tenure, Bob kept foremost in his focus a basic tenet: Each of us wants a place we can be proud of and comfortable in, a place where we want to be, a place we want to share with those who are important to us.

Bob invests a lot in the homes he builds. These aren’t just houses for other people, these are the homes in his community and in his neighboring communities. Bob grew up in Delaware County, raised his children in Delaware County, and works in Delaware County. He has served on the board of directors for the Delaware County Historical Society, as the president of the Optimist Club of Chester, as the secretary/treasurer of the Optimist Club of Aston, as a member of the Aston Blue Ribbon Commission, and more. The quality of life here is as important to him as the quality of the homes he builds.

“My commitment to provide a quality product – where every personal choice is seamlessly added to our well thought-out designs – allows me to create the home of your dreams,” Bob explains. “Let me build one for you.”  Bob Brown
